Display Module For Arduino

As the professional manufacturer, we would like to provide you Display Module For Arduino.Although in theory, Arduino is compatible with any LCD, we think that some LCD screens are better suited for use with Arduino in practical applications. We have carefully selected a list of recommended LCD screens that will make a great addition to any Arduino-based project. Several factors make these LCD screens the best choice for use with Arduino.

As the professional manufacturer, we would like to provide you Display Module For Arduino. First is the interface. All of these displays support SPI. Developers often wonder, "Which interface uses the fewest GPIO pins? Is this interface fast enough for my application to update the screen?" When using a relatively small processor like the Arduino, SPI is often the best choice because it requires only a small number of wires (3 or 4), but this also limits the overall size (number of pixels) that can be quickly controlled. I2C is another interface option that can keep the GPIO open. For Arduino displays, we generally recommend using SPI over I2C because SPI is faster and better suited to handling complex data transfers, such as reading image data from an SD card.

Next, we need to consider the second factor in choosing an Arduino display: the number of pixels. We generally recommend using a display with a resolution of 320x240 or less for use with the Arduino. For example, a 320x240 24-bit display would require 230,400 bytes *(8 + 2) = 2,304,000 bits per frame. Dividing this by 8,000,000 (Arduino SPI speed is 8MHZ), we get 0.288 seconds per frame, or 3.5 frames per second. While 3.5 fps is sufficient for many applications, it is not particularly fast. Using a display with fewer bits per pixel or fewer pixels will increase the frame rate. You can use the calculator below to calculate the frame rate of a display using SPI and Arduino.

Finally, we recommend Display Module For Arduino that are easy to connect to the Arduino. These displays are usually equipped with ZIF tails or easy-to-solder through-holes, avoiding the hassle of fine-pitch soldering. These displays can be brought up on the CFA10102 universal breakout board or through a custom CFA breakout board.

Finally, we choose displays that can provide high panel voltages from the Arduino itself or a compatible breakout board.

128x128 1.45" Full Color TFT LCD Display

Part Number: CFAF128128B1-0145T

This 1.45" diagonal Graphic TFT LCD display module will add a lot of excitement to your project. Although often referred to as a 1.44" color TFT, we round it up to 1.45". This small display packs 128x128 full-color pixels into a one-square-inch active display area. It's an ideal choice when you need a vibrant, detailed display while saving space on the front panel. Weighing less than 5 grams, it barely contributes to the overall weight of a handheld or wearable device.

Thanks to the built-in ST7735S or compatible controller, you only need a single 3.3V supply to power everything. The SPI host interface allows for full read and write access to the display with just 10 pins. A single bright white LED backlight is provided with anode (A, +) and cathode (K, -) pins that connect to the flexible printed circuit (FPC) tail. To connect, you only need to use a standard 10-conductor, 0.5mm SMT ZIF connector.

Using a simple SPI interface, you can easily implement an Arduino + TFT display demonstration.

Although the SPI interface only requires a few wires to control this TFT LCD module, it can still transmit data at a speed that supports 20 FPS (frames per second), which is enough to play smooth dynamic videos.
